We celebrated my birthday and my wife's birthday together. We shopped around and also looked at the reviews on Yelp. We decided on Kapit Bahay since we have always enjoyed their Filipino food . We spoke to Lisa who helped us select our entrees and how much to order since we were expecting our 200 people. Lisa was very polite and very helpful. Kapit Bahay normally doesn't deliver but we asked if they could and since our order was big they delivered to the place of our event. The food was delivered on time and neatly prepared. Our guests enjoyed the food and were asking where we got the food from . Thank you Lisa and Kapit Bahay .

The food was really authentic and amazingly delicious. The service was unbeatable and the people were very friendly

The people were very friendly and the food is delicious! Their sari-sari options were abundant. Good place to get something fast! My Dad loved going here.

I would love to give Kapit Bahay 5 stars. We have been coming here since the early mid-2000s until we moved to Inland Empire. Our last visit this weekend, however, gripped my usual expectations of comforting satisfaction. We got the Corned Beef, Kare², Tinola, and different brands of Hopia. What surprised me was the pugnacious taste of the Corned Beef - it's at the edge of spoilage. Maybe I was just being over reactive so I kept quiet. The Kare-Kare's meat (tripe) were not soft. It was not sufficiently simmered that it could be easily chewed and swallowed, but the sauce and vegies are one thumb up. I hope they simmer the meat longer because this savory dish would end up in the trash. The Chicken Tinola is good. One complain is: there is only 3 very small bite-size pieces in it that the ala carte price would seem too expensive. I wish Kapit Bahay can make the adjustments, bring back the quality.

Everything's is good, food is good. Lots of items from Asia are available. Pruces are on the high side. Prices on items nowhere to be found. There is no transparency. FYI - Halo- Halo $5.99 Special Halo-Halo $6.95. I'm not sure if the prices are infladed or not. But i coild not afford. All come down to 4 STARS. AS is checking out and using debit card THEY CHARGING $.50. The prices are already high. I don't see anywhere else businesses charging for the use of a debit card.

I really really love the lumpia here! I enjoy how they have a sitting place to eat in the whole store. Its in the middle and it gives you a chance to buy snacks and dessert before you leave. You are able to buy almost anything here, they have something for everyone. The reason for my less star was we had a lady help us and she wasn't too nice. I felt she was a bit rude when we asked about certain items as we are not Filipino. So of course its human nature to ask what things are! Anyhow there was a younger young lady and she was super helpful, she did not mind our questions. We both two combo B that had rice/noodles with beef adobo, sweet red sausage and chicken on a stick. We also got the corn beef hash and it was really good too. I think if you are open to trying out new things, stop by and at least get the lumpias!!

This place is wonderful for quick Filipino food to-gos. The set-up is cafeteria style where the dishes are freshly pre-made in chafing trays, all you have to do is point which ones you're buying and they'll scoop up and pack it for you. The place looks crowded as one area is the cafeteria and the other section is a combination of grocery shelves and dining area, but still a great hole in the wall in this part of Orange County for Filipino goods and meals. I come here for my classic favorites - Lechon Kawali, Lumpiang Shanghai and Kare Kare. I ordered 2 trays of lumpia for our office Christmas potluck 50 pcs is $28.50 and 25 pcs is $15. They allow over-the-phone orders where they would send you a text link of an invoice and you can pay online before pick-up. The people there are friendly too.

I was going to another place when i came across this place and tried it. Waited before i could try the food before posting the review. Its a small place that's a point-point (turo-turo) style. they have grocery items and cooked food in the same place. they have a long table that you can sit in and enjoy your food. they also have tables outside. Didn't really go around much but bought the 2 meal version. Everything looked good and freshly made. I ordered binagoongan and longganisa. Both are equally good and tender. I should've picked more meat for later but i had to try it first. The only thing thst i didn't enjoy is the turon. It's a bit hard. Price is fair and portions are decent considering prices are already super high but over all, i will be back.
